Peppermint Technology continues to grow an impressive client list with the addition of Portsmouth based Larcomes LLP. Larcomes is implementing the Peppermint Portal alongside the Iris Videss practice management system.
With 2 offices supporting hundreds of clients, Larcomes is a busy commercial and family solicitors practice with a reputation for providing a friendly and personal service. Achieving a high level of efficiency is at the heart of firm’s ability to provide excellent customer service and compete successfully with other legal service providers, and the Peppermint Portal has been selected to facilitate this.
Larcomes are keen to offer clients the choice to engage with them online, which until now has not been possible. They are confident the new Portal will allow them to improve the service they offer to existing clients and allow them reach out to new clients.
With this in mind, the first Portal application to be deployed will be self-assessment for Wills. From August the busy Probate department will use the Portal to allow clients to complete their Wills questionnaire via the web. The portal will save busy fee earners valuable time while also giving clients more control and choice of how and when they want to engage in the process.
The service will also be extended later in the year to offer services in the areas of Family and Residential Conveyancing.
As matters progress, the secure self-service element of the portal will be deployed to allow two-way joint collaboration with clients. Larcomes will be able to share draft documents and publish matter related information for these key practice areas.
