Salisbury-based Wilsons Solicitors LLP is swapping out its Miles33 Practice Management system in favour of the Peppermint Platform in order to drive and generate revenue. The growing law firm believes that whilst other systems may assist them in doing their job, Peppermint is the only legal software capable of actually generating revenue through the effective automation of cross-selling and business development.

Wilsons has built a robust business on traditional values coupled with modern thinking, a commitment to clients and a readiness to adapt and invest. In the last five years the firm, which now employs 170 staff, has experienced significant growth, opened a London office and moved into new headquarters.

The multi award winning Peppermint Platform is built on the world leading Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform, and as Wilsons holds its clients at the heart of everything it does, selecting a customer centric technology platform was essential. This enables the firm to centre all tasks, documents, communications and transactions on the client and deliver a highly personalised service.

Wilsons will utilise Peppermint's powerful business rules engine and workflow to automate processes, tasks and alerts in areas across the business, including cross selling. By putting the client at the centre of its technology focus, Wilsons will use process automation to drive down costs, optimise business development opportunities and assist with client retention.

Wilsons’ Managing Partner Andrew Roberts commented: "As a commercial firm with leading private client and charity practices we have always provided a high quality, personal service tailored to individuals and trustees as well as businesses. These diverse needs present real challenges to any practice management system. After 25 years with our current supplier it was time to move on to a market-leading solution that robustly retained all of the core functions needed to sustain our individual  approach whilst adding new features to enhance and extend our client service. After an extensive review of the market we chose the Peppermint Platform, which more than meets these requirements, in a very user-friendly way,  whilst offering clear routes to  increased  revenue and profit for our business."

"The focus from Peppermint was on our clients, not just us as a law firm. Other software providers didn't do that."
