Blake Morgan live on the Peppermint Platform

Leading national law firm Blake Morgan LLP has completed the first phase of their transition to the Peppermint legal services platform. This important milestone for the firm marks the start of an ongoing technological journey that will underpin the firm’s future growth strategy and help to continuously evolve and innovate the client experience.

Staff who have transferred to the new platform will now be able to benefit from a single time recording tool, method of billing and approach to closure and archiving of matters.

The client matter inception has been developed to provide an end to end process that captures the information required by their legal teams and will also provide the basis for the firm to utilise the built in CRM database capabilities in Peppermint in the future.

The next phase of the project will see the firm upgrade to Peppermint CX – the next generation of Practice Management System (PMS). It is built on the latest Microsoft technology and brings with it improved usability, searching and performance as well as introducing a new mobile capability.

Mike Wilson, Managing Partner of Blake Morgan, commented

“The transition to Peppermint is an important investment for our firm. Our ethos of putting the client first relies on seamless cross working across all service areas and the new platform will enable us to provide a first class client experience.”

“We are pleased to report that the first phase of the project has been a success and we are now moving into the second phase of our plans which will see us extending the use, and value, of the Peppermint platform across the firm.”

“I would like to thank the Peppermint team for their professionalism and expert technical support in delivering phase one of the project.”

Jon Gould, the firms Director of IT, added

“Blake Morgan made a strategic decision to base our technology and business roadmap on the latest Microsoft Dynamics Application Platform. This strategy will enable us to benefit from the latest industry standard technology that will continuously improve the way we work and evolve the services we deliver to clients. We are already reaping the benefits and trading ahead of our forecast. This is a reflection of the combined hard work, planning and dedication of the teams at Peppermint and Blake Morgan.”

Arlene Adams, CEO of Peppermint Technology, commented “Blake Morgan reflect the trend we are seeing in the general legal market where larger firms are moving to embrace modern, industry standard, application platforms over niche legacy legal software. Firms want, and need, access to modern application software platforms to stay head of the competitive curve. That’s why firms like Blake Morgan are embracing Microsoft Dynamics.”
